Title - Head of Commercial

Location - London (Central)

Salary - £80,000 - £110,000 + Bonus & Benefits.

The Firm:

Our client is one of the leading Renewable Energy, Recycling & Energy recovery specialists in Europe. With turnover in excess of £200m, they are one of the leading players in the energy market today and have a diverse portfolio of services at their disposal. They have recently had significant investment to double their infrastructure.

The Role:

• Working in partnership with the business (including operational, finance, legal and development teams) this role is responsible for developing and delivering the long-term strategy.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate commercial risk including understanding of underlying contractual terms and structures.
• Identify and support capital / real estate developments required to underpin growth.
• Support the firms commercial strategy through M&A Opportunities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience of negotiating and winning contracts with local authorities in the energy or waste sector.
• Proven experience in developing, articulating, and executing commercial strategy.
• Highly financially and numerically literate.
• Proven success in securing commercial contracts on good terms.
• Knowledge of the Waste Market industry.
