Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established European Commodities Trading House, in their search for a Senior Power Analyst to join the growing Energy team in London.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for the load of forecasting models, maintaining existing models and developing new.
• Ensure numerous forecasts are consistently delivered and within timeframes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting within the Energy Market.
• Work with emissions and natural gas analysts.
• Report on market views to support trading decisions.
• Analysis of trading performance and trading metrics to ensure informed decisions are made.
• Role reports into the Head of Power Trading.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Having a broad understanding of international power fundamentals.
• Building and updating Stack Models.
• Python coding experience is essential.
• Analytical mindset and strong ability to navigate the markets.
• 4+ years of relevant power analyst experience.
• Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or a relevant field.
• Strong attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
• Located in London / MUST have right to work and be based in the UK.
