Health Safety Environmental (HSE) Coordinator

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join a thriving company in the process industry. This is a fantastic chance to contribute to a positive and safety-focused workplace where innovation and improvement are at the forefront. Based in Hull, you'll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management, while being part of a business that values stability, growth, and a supportive culture.

What You'll Do:
  • EHS Oversight: Lead and manage all site-based Environmental, Health, and Safety operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and internal standards.
  • Drive Safety Initiatives: Take charge of initiatives aimed at reinforcing a strong safety-first mindset across the entire workforce.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the point of contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring all reports, permits, and safety documentation are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Process Improvement: Spearhead efforts to enhance existing EHS programs and procedures, contributing to the site's long-term strategic goals.
  • Data Reporting: Compile and present health, safety, and environmental data at regular meetings, ensuring clarity and timely communication to all relevant stakeholders.
What You'll Need:
  • Industry Experience: Solid background in EHS management within the manufacturing sector, preferably in food or chemical processing.
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH or IOSH certification
  • Must have previous Environmental experience
  • Key Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills, with the capacity to work effectively with teams at all levels.

Salary & Benefits:
