As an IT Apprentice at Giraffe Connected Solutions, you'll dive headfirst into the exciting world of information technology. You'll work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of areas.
In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 IT Support qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Raising and fixing tickets promptly, ensuring timely resolution
Assisting with help desk inquiries and providing customer support, including answering calls
Testing all hardware and software to ensure functionality, following internal checklists for installs and updates
Configuring and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, tablets, phones, and hardware components such as RAM, hard drives, power supplies, and graphics cards
Working with ethernet, cables, firewalls, switches, and other networking components to ensure optimal network performance and resolve issues
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
£14,625-£19,851 per annum
Monday Friday 8:30am 5:30pm
20 days holidays plus bank holidays

Progression onto the Level 4 apprenticeship and to develop within the business
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
Grade C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English Language or English Literature is required for this role
Mature and responsible personality
You must hold a driving license with access to your own car due to onsite work
Strong interest in IT and Engineering
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate individual
