Our client is a family-run livestock and general commodities transport company that is dedicated to providing exceptional service to its clients. Located just 20 minutes from the heart of Mildura, their growing business is seeking a reliable, driven and proactive person to join their team as a Yard Hand.

About the Role:
As a Yard Hand, you will play a vital role in maintaining the yard, equipment, and facilities, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the business's day-to-day operations. Â

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• General yard duties, machinery cleaning and waste management
• Tyre fitting
• Providing support in relation to inventory maintenance
• Following safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Reporting machinery faults and safety issues
• Performing routine maintenance

About You:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Analytical and problem-solving approach
• Mechanical aptitude or qualifications would be highly advantageous but not essential.
• Welding experience or qualifications would be highly advantageous but not essential.
• Forklift License an advantage but not essential.
