Job Title : SAP PPM Consultant (Project Portfolio Management) Job Description : We are seeking an experienced SAP PPM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP Project Portfolio Management (PPM), focusing on optimizing project and portfolio management processes, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and enhancing decision-making capabilities. Role and Responsibilities : 1. Requirement Gathering : - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements for project and portfolio management. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications for SAP PPM solutions. 2. Solution Design : - Design and implement SAP PPM solutions to meet business needs while adhering to best practices. - Customize SAP PPM functionalities, including portfolio management, project management, resource management, and financial planning. 3. Configuration and Customization : - Configure SAP PPM to support various project and portfolio management processes, including project creation, planning, execution, and monitoring. - Develop custom enhancements and integrations as needed to extend PPM functionality. 4. Process Optimization : - Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize project and portfolio management processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - Implement solutions to enhance project visibility, improve resource allocation, and support strategic decision-making. 5. Data Management : - Manage master data for project and portfolio management, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. - Conduct regular reviews and audits of project data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 6. User Support : - Provide technical support for SAP PPM users, including troubleshooting issues and resolving data discrepancies. - Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective utilization of SAP PPM functionalities. 7. Documentation : - Document configurations, customizations, and processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and ongoing support. - Maintain detailed records of project activities and transactions within the system. 8. Integration : - Integrate SAP PPM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP PS, SAP CATS, SAP ERP) and external systems. - Ensure seamless data flow and process integration across different functions. 9. Performance Monitoring : - Monitor the performance of SAP PPM solutions to ensure they meet business requirements. - Implement enhancements and updates as needed to maintain optimal performance. 10. Continuous Improvement : - Stay updated with the latest SAP PPM features, updates, and best practices. - Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system functionality and user experience.
