Insurance Surveyor

Working for a successful contractor who specialise in insurance claim repairs to residential properties in the Stockton on Tees / Middlesbrough area - you will be working alongside Contracts Manager, trades & an admin team delivering insurance claim reinstatement projects.

You will need insurance industry surveying/scoping experience and ideally have a working knowledge of Symbility or Xactware (or similar client portal/scoping tools).

Job role and responsibilities

• Surveying insurance claims (pre-validated)
• Estimating repair works and providing a scope of works for reinstatement
• Surveying insurance property claims, majority under £30k but up to £250k
• Discussing variations with contract manager where necessary during works

What skills/experience will you need?

For this Surveyor role, you will need:

• A good understanding of the property insurance claims process
• Experience in diagnosing damage and assessing repairs required - insurance claims
• Experience in surveying & scoping putting together a schedule of works
• Ideally some experience/knowledge of Symbility, Xactware (or similar)
• To live within a commutable distance of

In addition to the salary (around £40k) you will receive a car allowance or company car, pension and profit share
