Group Accountant

Pratap Partnership is searching for an experienced Group Accountant to join a large client to support managing the consolidated financial reporting for a large group of companies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate intercompany accounting, consolidation, and statutory reporting while supporting the groups financial operations and compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the consolidation of financial statements for the group, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across all subsidiaries.
• Managing and reconciling intercompany transactions, balances, and eliminations to ensure accurate group reporting.
• Assisting in the groups budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with group objectives.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in financial reporting systems and processes, especially related to intercompany accounting.
• Working closely with finance teams across subsidiaries to ensure consistent and accurate reporting, including regular communication to resolve discrepancies.

Requirements:

• ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Proven experience in intercompany accounting and consolidation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
