Accountant

Our client is a family-owned boutique firm based in Melbourne, is seeking an experienced and motivated accountant to join our dynamic team. We specialize in delivering tailored accounting and finance solutions to small business clients, and we're looking for someone with 3+ years of public practice experience who is ready to contribute and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities:

BAS Preparation: Accurately prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements.

Client Queries: Assist clients with their accounting and tax-related questions.

Tax Returns: Prepare and file Tax Returns for businesses and individuals.

Small Business Accounting: Manage accounting and tax obligations for business clients.

Prepare Financial Statements: Prepare financial statements.

Set Up Entities: Assist in establishing new business entities and structures.

Preparing Tax Budget (Schedule): Develop client tax budgets and schedules.

ATO Payment Plan: Set up and manage ATO client payment plans.

Tax Planning: Helping clients with their tax planning alongside a senior member

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
