- Support the Corporate Development Team and Country General Managers on various M&A projects, from sourcing to transaction execution.
- Take charge of crucial elements of the deal lifecycle, including market research and analysis, screening and sourcing potential opportunities, preparing non-binding letters of intent (LOIs), coordinating due diligence efforts, conducting valuation modeling, and performing financial analysis.
- Develop deal approval packages and offer support to integration teams throughout the process.
- Build and maintain the M&A pipeline in designated regions within EMEA by engaging with potential acquisition targets and serving as the main point of contact between local General Managers and the headquarters' M&A team.
Employer requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills, with expertise in advanced financial modeling, including proficiency in Leveraged Buyouts (LBOs), valuation, and data analysis/presentation.
- Up to 3 years of experience in M&A, demonstrating a strong track record, with direct experience in financial analysis and enterprise valuation, including the structuring of business cases. Ideal background: experience in an M&A boutique advisory, investment banking division (IBD), or strategy consulting from a reputable firm. Profiles from the strategic/transactions services teams of well reputed audit firms, or from an active corporate business development team can also be suitable
- A strong ambition to become a highly skilled M&A professional capable of leading mid-sized international M&A projects, with a commitment to continuous personal development.
- High business acumen, with a clear commercial drive and a focus on customer needs.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships, both externally and internally.
- Independent thinker, with strong decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
- High level of integrity and a strong team player.
- Excellent project management and communication abilities.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with native or proficient skills in Polish and German as a plus.
