ESG & Compliance Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate the ESG reporting process with the respective business process owners and an external consulting company.
  • Provide guidance to all engaged parties with regard to ESG requirements.
  • Identify and assess ESG-related risks, including environmental hazards, social impacts, and governance challenges and propose corrective actions.
  • Identify the industry's best ESG practices that will contribute to the strategy.
  • Elaborate the KPI in the ESG area for the whole organization.
  • Monitor and assess the organization's ESG performance against established goals.
  • Develop and execute ESG strategy aligned with the organization’s goals.
  • Prepare regular reports on ESG initiatives and performance for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication of the organization's ESG initiatives and achievements .
  • Conduct risk assessments and contingency planning to prepare for emergencies and crises.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, social, and governance laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities, risk assessments, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Act as a main point of contact for external stakeholders (e.g. auditors, clients).
  • Foster a culture of sustainability and ethical behavior within the organization through communication, training, and other activities.

Our requirements

  • Master’s degree in compliance, law, business administration, economics a related field.
  • 3– 5 years of relevant professional work experience in the field of compliance .
  • Knowledge of ESG reporting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and change agility.
  • Proactivity & self- reliance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English and Polish.

Currently, we are seeking a talented expert for the newly created role of ESG & Compliance Manager. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in complying with ESG and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for developing and implementing reporting standards across the organization and driving necessary changes in processes that contribute to sustainable business practices. The role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer & Board Member.
