Senior Compliance Specialist - Front Office Business Control Manager

A fantastic new senior business facing Regulatory/Compliance opportunity has arisen with a reputable Financial Services business in central London.

The role will entail you working closely with the front office/business in providing regulatory advise and support to achieve the firms growth aspirations whilst advising the business on the appropriate risk management discipline to achieve the companies strategic goals.

This is a newly created role where you’ll be working closely with the business in an advisory capacity, advising both the front office and board/senior stakeholders on any potential regulatory risk effecting the firm. Reporting directly to the deputy CEO of the business, you’ll have vision of all regulatory activities across the firms Retail, Corporate Finance and Wealth Management/Private Banking activities across the UK and Asia-Pacific (APAC) activities.

This position would suit someone with a strong regulatory (FCA and/or PRA) background that enjoys working closely with the business in an advisory capacity, whilst working on large scale, complex regulatory projects.

The ideal candidate will have some of the following attributes:

• Demonstrable knowledge of Compliance and/or Risk Management within a reputable Financial Services organisation.
• Strong background in an FCA and/or PRA regulated firm.
• Ability the present complex issues confidently and concisely to Senior Management in layman’s terms/simple language.
• Good relationship management, collaboration and influencing ability across multiple functions.
• A solution driven, positive can-do attitude.

An understanding of Real Estate finance would also be helpful, although not essential.

This is a permanent position based in their central London office, offering a hybrid working arrangement.
