Job Description

A large architecture and interior design studio is seeking an experienced technical designer skilled in Revit to join their team.


Candidates with a technical background in architecture or interiors will be considered, making this a great opportunity to get into the luxury sector. Do note that part of the interview process will involve a Revit test.


The company specialises in luxury hospitality, food & beverage, and residential projects with a focus on Middle Eastern and Asia. The practice is looking to fill this role immediately so candidates with no notice period will be prioritised through the interview process.


Responsibilities:

  • Produce complex interior and architectural drawings for a variety of project scales.
  • Ensure design intent is maintained from concept to construction.
  • Prepare detailed drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Manage technical documentation and coordinate with other disciplines.
  • Participate in construction administration, including site visits, field reviews, and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and building codes.
  • Collaborate with the project team, consultants, and contractors to maintain progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and project reviews to resolve issues.


Requirements:

  • Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design with 3-5 years post qualification experience
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suite
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, building systems, and materials.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices is a plus
  • The right to live and work in the UK


The practice offers hybrid working, a modern office in Central London, 20 days annual leave plus Christmas closure and bank holidays, as well as a performance based bonus after one year of service and a profit share after two years .
