About the job

As a Compliance Officer focused on Core Compliance, you will report into the firm’s UK Head of Compliance and support the global compliance team. You will be focused on UK and EU compliance matters. The main focus for this hire is on maintaining the firm’s Code of Ethics programme, reviewing and monitoring all core compliance matters, and ensuring the firm’s continued strong compliance culture. You will be working with both investment and non-investment staff.

This will be a 15 month contract and an excellent opportunity to build your hedge fund compliance experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and monitoring the Code of Ethics programme
• Onboard and manage employee disclosures
• Carry out compliance training and onboarding
• Review and monitor Personal Account dealing, including submission of any related regulatory filings
• Ensure compliance with the Senior Managers Certification Regime
• Ad hoc compliance projects

Key Requirements

• 2 – 3+ years of Code of Ethics and Personal Account dealing experience in a financial services firm
• Skilled at handling various responsibilities in a dynamic environment
• Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Collaborative team member with a cross-functional approach
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and effective project prioritization
• Capable of working independently while proactively addressing issues as needed
