Assistant Accountant

Qualifications: BCom Degree or BTech in Financial Accounting / Internal Auditing CIMA qualification and strong IT skills are a plus What Our Client Is Looking For: Excellent communication skills Exceptional attention to detail 3-5 years of finance experience in a computerized accounting environment A valid drivers license Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post standard journals for monthly management accounts Prepare and reconcile VAT returns, confirming inter-company balances Conduct fixed costs and transport analysis for senior management Prepare tax documentation and upload to financial systems Upload financial statements and budgets using advanced software Reconcile all ledger accounts using MS Excel within deadlines Complete manufacturing questionnaires and manage petty cash for the month Assist with any ad hoc duties as needed If youre ready for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, apply today
