Job Description

Position Title - Assistant Director/Associate Director


Job Purpose

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in London. The role will be multifaceted involving recruitment, employee engagement, CSR and employee relations. The individual should be able to have a hands-on approach to cater to all facets of human resources at Acuity in UK and US.

The role will report into the CHRO.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an active HR Business partner to USA/UK leadership team and coordinate with all functional HR leaders in India.
  • Analyse HR trends and metrics in partnership with global HR teams to develop solutions, programs, and policies for US & UK.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to the employees and be the voice of employee concerns.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization. Provide in-depth data of UK & US hiring market and trends
  • Manage full cycle direct recruiting process in US & UK to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units and work in sync with global hiring mandates
  • Work in sync global HR strategy and drive all HR initiatives in US & UK
  • Plan and execute company-wide events, such as town halls and social events etc.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement CSR initiatives that reflect the company's values and support the company's mission and vision


Key Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree in related field will be preferred. Any HR certification will be an added advantage.
  • 10-12 years of experience in HR positions, with a deep understanding of HRBP responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex HR issues, recruitment, CSR initiatives and EE/ER
  • Analytical and goal-oriented.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
  • Standard office hours apply, with additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines and to respond to urgent HR issues.
