Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


  • Ability to review & understand various contracts, and have an expert understanding of the application of contract terms across multiple European jurisdictions (including UK and/or Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain)
  • Contract review/negotiation duties for Contract Priorities (Services/Staffing all jurisdictions)
  • Contract review/negotiation duties for International/global engagement contracts
  • Provide ongoing support for direct reports and conduct people management activities, including objectives setting and performance review, day-to-day oversight of direct reports (that can involve multiple EMEA regions) and assign workload and prioritise tasks across their team as required.
  • Support Contract Managers with regards to any emerging issues, and provide support as required on internal risk assessments, BAU needs.
  • Accountability and management of SLAs for quick and complex response items
  • Working closely with the Senior Management team to ensure that all contractual issues and suggested improvements are captured and actioned.
  • Implementation of EMEA Auditing Processes; escalating to Head of CCT where required.
  • Proactively develop the skills and knowledge of the Contract Managers within the wider team, providing support as and when required.
  • Demonstrates ability to train team members whilst managing BAU effectively, with a proven track record of developing team members into newly promoted positions within the team.
  • Can lead a small team of Contract Managers; evidencing development of people.

  • Provide support to divisional leadership as required (i.e. reporting for DFO/RVP etc.)

  • Ability to build good working relationships with all levels in and outside of the business, including supporting other team members


Requirement


  • Law Degree level education, and/or qualified by experience.
  • Legal Practice Course (LPC) is desirable.
  • 3+ years Contract review and negotiation experience
  • 3+ years’ experience working within a legal/contracts function in a Consultancy/recruitment business


Candidate Summary

Acts and serves in the company’s interest through contract negotiations, holding key relationships with sales and customers to contribute towards the growth and profitability of Allegis Group


The Contract Manager will report into the Senior Contract Manager and will actively participate in the day-to-day relationship and contract management of assigned Customer contracts, supporting Sales/Commercial to meet their contractual milestones. This role will also have a number of other responsibilities to support the Head of Commercial Contracts in their wider commercial, financial and technical responsibilities, and assist in the supervision and development of more junior colleagues.
