Head of Electrical Engineering

Head of Electrical Engineering – Data Center

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Electrical Engineering to join a Global owner operator. This leadership role will focus on driving consistency in design standards, advancing critical electrical systems, and spearheading improvements across our expanding portfolio of data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and standardize electrical design across global data center projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure design adherence and efficiency.
• Innovate by identifying and implementing cutting-edge technologies to reduce costs and improve energy efficiency.
• Develop and maintain global technical documentation, including design guides and specifications.

What You’ll Bring:

• Extensive experience in designing and commissioning critical power systems within data centers or similar environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders including project managers, consultants, and contractors.
• Expertise in global electrical standards and legislation (e.g., BS EN, IEC, DIN).
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional registration.
