Senior Legal Counsel (Corporate M&A – Sports & Entertainment)

Our client a privately held investment management firm is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team, focusing on M&A and transactional matters within the sports and entertainment sectors. This role will involve providing expert legal advice on a broad range of high-value transactions across the investment lifecycle, from initial deal structuring and execution to portfolio management and exits via sales, recapitalizations, or IPOs. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Counsel and collaborate with internal teams, as well as manage relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.

As the Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating external counsel on complex or specialist transactions, ensuring the delivery of efficient, high-quality legal services. Your ability to manage a wide remit, keep pace with regulatory developments, and identify opportunities within the sports and entertainment landscape will be critical to your success. In this fast-paced, high-growth environment, you will be expected to balance tight deadlines with the ability to think strategically and manage risks effectively.

This role is ideal for a proactive and results-driven legal professional, preferably in Private Equity or Investment Management. You will bring a strong legal and commercial mindset, you must have proven expertise in financial and commercial law, in the sports, media, and entertainment sectors.
