Private Wealth Litigation Associate - 2-4PQE

Pure Search are exclusively instructed by a leading City law firm who are looking to add to their Litigation team at 2-4PQE, with a focus on Private Wealth disputes. The role will also provide broader scope for exposure to more general commercial disputes with an excellent remuneration structure vs billable target hours.

The Firm:

Our client is highly-ranked for their Private Client work, with particular strength across their Disputes practice. The firm has a rich history of representing high-net-worth, ultra-high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs in the private wealth sector, with particular strengths in advising in respect of onshore and offshore trust disputes, estate and succession matters and disputed wills.

The firm are heavily investing in the growth of their award winning Family and Private Wealth teams at present, making it in an exciting time to join the firm.

The Role:

This is a unique opportunity in that you will have exposure to both Private Wealth Disputes and general Commercial Litigation, with the latter being open to those with an interest in diversifying their practice.

The Private Wealth Disputes aspects will involve:

• Advising senior international figures, with estates in excess of $1bn, in estate and succession disputes;
• Onshore and offshore trust disputes;
• Disputes involving breach of fiduciary duty and fraud;
• Minority shareholder actions and partnership claims;
• Disputes concerning charities, beneficiaries, protectors and corporate entities.

Aside from the above, you will also be exposed to a broad diet of commercial litigation, fraud disputes, financial services litigation and international arbitration.

About You:

You will be an England & Wales qualified Solicitor with 2-4 years post-qualified experience of contentious trusts or private wealth disputes. You will ideally have had experience of working with a range of international clients and will be looking for similar international exposure moving forward. You should have a consistently strong academic record and a genuine interest in business development.
