Legal Counsel VP

About the Company:

Leading European investment bank seeking legal Counsel to join trading team in London.

About the Role:

The focus of the role will be commodities and FX as well as supporting a range of desks including sales, trading and structuring, working with senior management, compliance, regulatory and other functions as needed. This role offers varied, interesting work:

• Drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements related to metals trading
• Advising on Listed Derivatives and Clearing
• Supporting commodities desks

Your skills and experience:

• The ideal candidate will have trained and qualified at a top-tier City law firm, with c.1-4 years’ PQE
• In addition to derivatives will ideally have commodities, metals and/or FX experience
• This is a VP role that would suit a technical lawyer with a commercial mindset, looking for their first in-house role.
