Commercial TMT Senior Associate - 5PQE

Pure Search are instructed by one of the leading names globally in the TMT space who are looking to grow their Commercial team at 5-10PQE.

The Firm:

Our client is widely regarded as one of the 'go-to' firms in the TMT space. They are specialists at working with innovative and creative clients and are consistently ranked in Tier 1 by Legal 500 across the TMT sector.

Many of the firms partners across multiple teams have been promoted internally and they are looking for someone that has ambitions of progressing to partnership in the coming years.

The Role:

This particular role will focus on transactions where tech and IT are at the core of the work. This will include advising clients across the media, sports, brands, life sciences and tech sectors. These include major household names in the motor racing, international broadcasting, tech and telecoms.

The role will expose you to:

• Software development and licensing;
• IT outsourcing and infrastructure work;
• Digital transformation - projects involving AI, blockchain, fintech and adtech;
• Emerging Tech - a large focus on AI but also cyber security and open source software;
• Telecoms - ranging from network roll outs to advising technology providers;
• General procurement, supply and distribution work.

About You:

You will have at least 5-years post-qualification experience in Commercial Tech, Telecoms or IT work and be at a stage where you want to focus on these areas at a genuine market leader with a clear path for progression to partnership. The intention of this role is to help a Senior Associate develop a case for partnership in time so it will suit someone that is happy to get involved in business development, both externally and internally. You will also have a natural curiosity as to how AI will shape the TMT landscape in the coming years as the role will provide significant scope to be involved in a range of emerging tech products.
