Here's the exciting bit…a day includes
Primary objective is to drive traffic to Superdrug.com through Paid Search, increase customer conversion and drive brand awareness that results in an increased level of profitable sales. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with experience in search and ecommerce retail to drive forward growth and innovation within the channel
You will focus on being an external digital marketing expert to work with our agency and Google on traffic and conversion campaigns from concept through to execution, working with relevant stakeholders as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
• End to end management of the channel including day to day briefing to the agency, budget management and implementation of strategy inline with key business pillars as well as bringing your own thoughts and innovations.
• Manage our Paid Search advertising agency - communicating promotional and other activity, identifying new opportunities and ensuring plans are delivered on time and to budget.
• Work with Senior Online Business Marketing Manager in supporting and implementing the traffic strategy to drive profitable returns on our investment
• Support online business trading plans to drive traffic and sales on Superdrug.com including our marketplace through PPC
• Briefing Performance Max creative to design team and others as applicable and devising on brand messaging for ads
• Work with offline marketing on key campaigns to ensure O+O.
• Work with Online Business trading managers to drive growth inline with overall sales objectives at business and category level.
• Keep up to speed with developments on the latest online search marketing technologies and innovations and ensure the business is at the forefront to take advantage of developments.
• Support on at least one additional paid channel.
What you'll need to succeed:
• PPC experience ideally 2 years
• Proven experience in digital marketing agency or fast paced e-commerce B2C retail environment
• Technical knowledge of web tools and processes with experience in devising and managing online marketing campaigns.
• Experience managing agencies
• Capable of building strong working relationships and motivating teams to deliver outstanding results
• Keen attention to detail - strong analytical and copy writing skills
• Ability to understand business strategies, tactics and implement measurable research plans
• Ability to transform solid thinking into action
• Openness to change and ability to think creatively
• Ideally skills in GA4, Looker Studio, SA360, Bing Ads, Google Ads, and other measurement tools
• Understanding of attribution and MMM
