Simplotel was awarded the best startup in travel & hospitality for 2021 by Startup India, an initiative of the Union Ministry of Commerce & Industry in : Data Automation Overview : As a Data Automation Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to collect, organize, and interpret data, converting it into meaningful insights. Your role involves building automation solutions that simplify and accelerate the analysis process, and integrating data from various source systems into a centralized data store. This approach not only speeds up the development of dashboards but also improves the accuracy of reports and decision-making throughout the company. By translating complex data into clear, strategic recommendations, you will empower departments to make informed decisions that drive growth and efficiency. Roles and Responsibilities : - Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate these requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for the data warehouse. - Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse architectures and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis. - Conduct regular data quality assessments and participate in data cleansing efforts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data within the warehouse. - Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine data processing and management tasks, using programming languages such as Python to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. - Monitor and optimize the performance of data warehouse systems, including query performance, data loading processes, and overall system efficiency. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data warehouse architecture, ETL processes, and automation workflows to ensure clear understanding and effective knowledge transfer. - Identify and resolve issues related to data pipeline failures, data integrity, and system performance to ensure continuous and reliable operation. - Evaluate and implement the latest tools and best practices to enhance automation processes, streamline data handling, and integrate innovative solutions into the organization's data Required : - 0-3 years of experience with scripts, data warehousing, and / or automation - Hands-on experience (or proficiency with SQL and Python) - Proficiency in data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis - Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data processing, analysis, and reporting - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments - Experience in data reporting and proficiency in SQL are advantageous for querying and managing relational databases - Bachelor of Engineering required. - MBA is a plus.
