Position Overview : We are looking for a hands-on C#/.NET Developer who is ready to work with our team in developing and monitoring our Windows Technology. With an extensive existing customer base and a market-leading position in network monitoring, your work will go into production as soon as it shows measurable improvement over current methods. Role & Responsibilities : - Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance applications using C# and .NET technologies. - Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Windows Services, demonstrating expertise in server-side and multi-threaded programming. - Implement and optimize code to ensure efficient functionality of Windows Service programming. - Leverage basic PowerShell experience to enhance automation and scripting processes. - Utilize OpenTelemetry for efficient monitoring and analysis of applications, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems. - Participate in the development and maintenance of PowerShell scripts and modules, demonstrating proficiency in basic PowerShell scripting and automation. - Apply network programming skills to enhance network monitoring capabilities. - Work collaboratively to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software solutions. Skills and Qualifications : - Proven experience in C# development, showcasing the ability to deliver high-quality code in a collaborative team environment. - Expertise in server-side programming, multi-threaded programming, Windows Service programming, and network programming. - Familiarity with Open Telemetry for efficient application monitoring. - Basic proficiency in PowerShell, including scripting and automation. - Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating efficient and scalable solutions. - Ability to adapt to new technologies and a willingness to learn and grow professionally. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams. - Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in C#. - NET development and Windows Service programming. - C#: Expertise in C# is crucial as it is the primary programming language for developing applications. - The candidate must have proficiency in either the .NET Framework or .NET Core for building and maintaining applications. - Experience in creating and maintaining Windows Services is essential for background processing tasks. - Candidates need experience in multi-threaded programming for concurrent operations, which is key for server-side tasks. - Strong experience in server-side development is important, as the position involves creating efficient backend services. - REST APIs and Web APIs would be involved for client-server communication. - This role is based in Ahmedabad (Work from Office) (ref:hirist.tech)
