Quality Assurance Automation Test Engineer - Selenium/Python

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced SDET Tester with expertise in Selenium to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering robust and scalable test solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium. - Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand product requirements and create effective test strategies. - Identify, record, and track bugs to ensure timely resolution. - Perform regression testing, functional testing, and performance testing. - Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration (CI) pipeline. - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. - Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed reports on software quality. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and test coverage. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation and software quality assurance. - Python programming Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience as an SDET or similar role with a focus on test automation. - Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and related tools. - Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. - Familiarity with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit. - Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. - Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Leadership skills are must Skills Required : - Automated Testing Frameworks - Software Release and Versioning - Defect Tracking and Reporting - Web and Mobile Application QA - QA reporting Software Development Tools: JIRA, Confluence - Team Mentoring - Excellent Communication - Developing Quality Standards - Version Control Systems: Git - Teamwork and Positive Attitude - Programming Languages : Java, ruby - Java-Selenium-Cucumber - Selenium Web driver - AutoIt - Circle CI - SQL Server (ref:hirist.tech)
