Integration Manager - MuleSoft/Anypoint Platform

Job Title : Integration Manager Location : Remote. Timings : US Shift Timings. Job Summary : The Integration Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of integration solutions across our enterprise, with a strong focus on ecommerce and retail systems. This role requires a strong understanding of integration principles, best practices, and a proven track record of delivering successful integration projects within the retail and ecommerce industry. The Integration Manager will oversee a range of integration tools, currently focusing on MuleSoft and SAP CPI, with the potential to expand to other technologies in the future. They will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless integration across our systems and applications, optimizing processes and enhancing customer experience. Key Responsibilities : - Integration Strategy & Roadmap : Develop and maintain the long-term integration strategy and roadmap, aligning with business objectives and evolving technology landscape within the ecommerce and retail industry. This includes identifying future integration needs and evaluating potential new tools and technologies specific to the retail domain. - Solution Design & Architecture : Design and architect integration solutions using MuleSoft, SAP CPI, and other integration tools as required, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and adherence to best practices within the ecommerce and retail context. - Project Management : Manage the full lifecycle of integration projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support, ensuring alignment with ecommerce and retail business needs. - Team Leadership & Collaboration : Lead and mentor a team of integration developers, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring efficient communication with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors, particularly those involved in ecommerce and retail operations. - Technical Expertise : Possess deep technical expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4, API Manager, CloudHub) and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), with a strong understanding of their application within the ecommerce and retail landscape. - Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn and master new integration technologies as needed, particularly those relevant to the retail industry. - Problem Solving & Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring smooth operation of integrated systems, particularly those related to ecommerce and retail processes. - Documentation & Best Practices : Maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration solutions and promote best practices within the team, ensuring consistency and knowledge sharing, with a focus on ecommerce and retail integration standards. - Continuous Improvement : Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches to enhance integration capabilities and optimize processes, specifically within the ecommerce and retail domain. - Tool Proficiency : Demonstrate strong proficiency in using tools like JIRA, BitBucket, and ServiceNow for project management, version control, and incident management. Required Skills & Experience : - Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. - 10 year of experience in the industry with at least 5 years of experience in integration development and management, with a strong focus on MuleSoft and SAP CPI, ideally within the ecommerce and retail industry. - Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and SAP Cloud Platform Integration, specifically within the context of ecommerce and retail systems. - Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful APIs, and integration patterns, with a focus on their application within the ecommerce and retail domain. - Experience with data transformation, message queuing, and other integration technologies, particularly those relevant to ecommerce and retail processes. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on resolving integration issues within ecommerce and retail systems. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including stakeholders in ecommerce and retail operations. - Experience working in an Agile development environment, particularly within the context of ecommerce and retail projects. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with individuals involved in ecommerce and retail initiatives. - Proficiency in using tools like JIRA, BitBucket, and ServiceNow for project management, version control, and incident management. - Knowledge of working with different data models like EDI, EDIFACT, JSON, and XML, including experience in data transformation and integration between these formats. Desired Skills & Experience : - Experience with cloud-based integration platforms, particularly as they apply to ecommerce and retail solutions. - Experience with other integration technologies, especially those relevant to the retail industry. - Certification in MuleSoft or SAP CPI. - Experience with DevOps practices and tools. - Experience with data modelling and database technologies. - Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, with a specific understanding of their application within the ecommerce and retail domain (ref:hirist.tech)
