Data Engineer - Informatica/Power Centre

StWe are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in data modeling, data architecture, and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter, a solid analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role involves collaboration across teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of ETL solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Lead Development of ETL solutions and transformations using Informatica PowerCenter. - Collaborate with Architects to ensure adherence to ETL standards and principles throughout the development cycle. - Actively contribute to all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including: - Requirement Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to understand project needs. - Development: Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines. - Testing: Ensure solutions meet quality standards through thorough testing. - Production Implementation: Ensure smooth deployment and handover of the solution. - Post-Production Support: Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization after go-live. - Multi-task effectively across various tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. - Maintain a focus on timely delivery and quality, adhering to project SLAs and lifecycle requirements. - Provide technical expertise and support for the ETL environment. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5 years of experience in ETL Development with a focus on Informatica PowerCenter. - Strong expertise in data modeling, data architecture, and data warehousing. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks or projects. - Excellent knowledge of the SDLC process and experience in different stages of the lifecycle. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams. Preferred Skills : - Familiarity with other ETL tools and data integration technologies. - Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and working with large datasets. - Experience with cloud technologies and data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or Redshift is a plus.
