Charity Recruitment Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding team in a role focused on new business development. You’ll have the autonomy to grow your own client base and shape a rewarding career in a supportive and flexible environment.

Position: Charity Recruitment Consultant
Location: Home and office working, Olney, Buckinghamshire
Salary: Circa £35,000 - £40,000 basic, plus uncapped bonus/commission (OTE Circa £80k - £90k per annum)
Hours: Full-time, 9 – 4:30pm Monday to Friday, with 2 days working from home (fully remote working considered after probation period)

Contract: Initial 6 month fixed term contract, with potential extension to permanent.

About the Role
As a Charity Recruitment Consultant, your primary focus will be on building a client base within the charity and not-for profit sector. You’ll be responsible for identifying prospects, generating leads, and converting them into loyal clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a business development role, enjoys the challenge of new client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Proactively generate new clients within the Not-For-Profit sector, using a consultative approach to match their recruitment needs with our tailored solutions.
  • Desk Building: Build and manage your own recruitment desk, developing a pipeline of leads and converting them into active clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and expertise in their recruitment challenges.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Implement effective sales strategies to meet KPIs and achieve revenue growth.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Identify and attract top talent to fill roles across the sector, ensuring great matches for your clients.
  • Market Insight: Stay updated on sector trends and needs to position yourself as an expert and trusted partner for charity recruitment.

About You
We are looking for a highly motivated Recruitment Consultant who has a proven track record in business development and is excited by the opportunity to build a client base Your experience in the recruitment sector, within the Not-for-Profit or charity field, will enable you to quickly develop strong relationships and provide clients with top-tier service.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in recruitment within the Charity and Not-For-Profit sector, with a strong focus on new business development and client acquisition.
  • Ability to independently build and manage a sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A consultative approach to understanding client needs and matching them with tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset, eager to achieve and exceed targets.
