Product Owner - Patient Support Services

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in patient support services to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the healthcare technology sector, focusing on building and delivering solutions that enhance patient support and service delivery. In this role, you will act as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that patient support systems align with both client and business needs. Key Responsibilities : - Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team for the patient support services product. - Define and maintain the product backlog, aligning with business goals and client requirements in patient support services. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, design, QA) to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality product features. - Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team. - Prioritize product features based on client feedback, market demands, and business goals. - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all aspects of product development. - Conduct market research to identify trends in patient support services and suggest product improvements. - Gather continuous feedback from users and stakeholders to guide the product's development and future roadmap. - Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring the development team is aligned with the product vision. - Oversee product quality, ensuring that patient support services are reliable, user-friendly, and compliant with industry standards. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field. - 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, specifically focused on healthcare technology and patient support services. - Deep understanding of patient management systems, healthcare workflows, and relevant regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.). - Experience working in Agile environments, with proficiency in Scrum or Kanban. - Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong organizational and leadership skills, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications : - Master's degree in a related field. - Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems or patient support platforms. - Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Project Management Professional (PMP). - Familiarity with UX/UI principles as they apply to patient support systems.
