Job Title : Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS) - Server Administrator Experience : 5 Years of experience Location : Dev Complex, 3rd Floor, Namachivaya Nagar, Saravanampatti, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641035 Position Summary : We are seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to manage and improve our server architecture. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS, with additional knowledge of Azure or Google Cloud being a significant advantage. This role requires a strong understanding of what constitutes a good architecture in terms of performance, scalability, and cost optimization. Key Responsibilities : Design and Implement Cloud Solutions : - Develop and implement scalable and robust AWS architecture solutions that meet business and technical requirements. - Design and deploy applications on AWS, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance. Performance and Scalability : - Evaluate current architectures and propose enhancements to improve performance and scalability. - Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, implementing solutions to optimize performance. Cost Optimization : - Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure cost efficiency. - Implement cost-saving strategies, such as right-sizing instances, leveraging reserved instances, and identifying underutilized resources. Cross-Cloud Knowledge : - Utilize knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud to provide comparative insights and potential multi-cloud strategies. - Stay updated with advancements in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud services and features. Collaboration and Communication : - Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure cohesive cloud strategies. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Security and Compliance : - Ensure that all cloud solutions comply with security standards and best practices. - Implement and manage security policies and access controls. Required Qualifications : Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience : - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, specifically with AWS. - Proven experience in designing and implementing AWS solutions. - Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus or Grafana. - Knowledge of Azure or Google Cloud is a significant advantage. Technical Skills : - Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, etc. - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell. - Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with Linux & Windows Server, DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Ansible, Git). Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications : - AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional). - Knowledge of database management and optimization (ref:hirist.tech)
