Wordpress Developer - PHP/Javascript

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining WordPress websites. This role involves working closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality web solutions. Key Responsibilities : Develop and Maintain WordPress Websites : - Build and maintain websites using WordPress. - Develop custom themes and plugins to meet project requirements. - Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of WordPress websites. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : - Work with designers and front-end developers to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces. - Collaborate with project managers to understand project scope and deliverables. Write Clean, Maintainable Code : - Follow best practices in coding, testing, and design. - Write unit and functional tests to ensure code quality. Problem Solving : - Identify and fix bugs and performance issues. - Troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues and provide timely solutions. Stay Updated with Industry Trends : - Keep abreast of emerging technologies and apply them to operations and activities. - Continuously improve your coding skills and share knowledge with the team. Qualifications : Technical Skills : - Proficiency in WordPress development. - Strong experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. - Familiarity with WordPress theming, including PHP template files. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. Additional Skills : - Understanding of SEO best practices. - Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation is a plus. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is a plus. Soft Skills : - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
