Senior Oracle PL-SQL Developer

Job Description : Objectives of the Role : - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Lead and manage development activities in alignment with SDLC processes and predefined timelines. - Perform code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards, and conduct thorough testing of solutions. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, providing software updates and patches as needed. - Ensure development aligns with established processes and quality benchmarks, working closely with developers and engineers. - Monitor system performance and implement required tools for optimization. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities : - Deploy software releases and patches, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption. - Provide Level 3 technical support, addressing complex issues and guiding junior developers. - Develop integration solutions with internal back-end systems, ensuring robust data handling and security. - Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement long-term fixes. - Investigate and resolve any technical challenges or system inefficiencies. - Design and implement troubleshooting and maintenance procedures to ensure system stability. Skills and Qualifications : - Experience : 8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, preferably within the BFSI domain. - Advanced PL/SQL Knowledge : Expertise in writing efficient, scalable, and complex PL/SQL code. - Large File Handling : Proven experience in handling and processing large datasets. - XML/JSON Handling : Strong knowledge of working with XML/JSON objects using PL/SQL for data integration. - Data Encryption/Decryption : Familiarity with encryption, decryption, and data reduction techniques for secure data transmission. - Problem-Solving : Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues. - Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly. Preferred : - Experience working in payment systems, specifically NEFT/RTGS, is a strong plus. - Strong understanding of banking and financial services applications. (ref:hirist.tech)
