Join our dedicated team as a Full time Cook in our one of a our lovely care homes in the Angmering Area. Your culinary skills will play a vital role in providing nutritious and delicious meals to those in need. In this rewarding role, you will not only be responsible for preparing meals that cater to a variety of dietary needs but also for creating a warm and inviting kitchen atmosphere. You'll work closely with a team of professionals who share your love for food and commitment to health.

Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals for clients, staff, and visitors.
* Follow dietary guidelines and special dietary requirements as outlined.
* Ensure the kitchen and food preparation areas are clean, organized, and adhere to health and safety regulations.
* Manage inventory and order kitchen supplies as needed to maintain stock.
* Collaborate with dietitians and medical staff to create menu options that accommodate client’s needs.
* Monitor food preparation techniques to maintain quality and taste.
* Participate in food tastings and menu development with the culinary team.
* Permanent position after a 16 week qualifying period
Requirements
* Proven experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role.
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
* Ability to prepare meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* DBS clearance and competency check completion
