CITB Trainer

About Us:

HSQE Training, a division of HSQE Consultancy Ltd, offers high-quality Health, Safety, and Environmental training to support businesses in meeting industry compliance and achieving excellence. We are seeking a qualified and experienced CITB Trainer to deliver a range of construction-related courses on an ad-hoc basis. This role requires flexibility in delivery, with both virtual/remote learning and face-to-face classroom sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver CITB accredited courses, including SSSTS, SSSTS-R, SMSTS, SMSTS-R, and Health and Safety Awareness (HSA).
• Facilitate both remote/virtual learning sessions and in-person classroom training, ensuring an engaging and interactive experience for participants.
• Prepare and adapt training materials to suit different delivery methods and learner needs.
• Ensure training content aligns with CITB standards and remains up-to-date with current industry regulations.
• Provide feedback and assessments for course participants, monitoring their progress throughout the training.
• Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, assessments, and course completions.
• Create a positive learning environment, whether in a virtual or physical setting, ensuring all learners are supported and engaged.

Key Requirements:

• Must be registered as a CITB-approved Trainer.
• Proven experience delivering SSSTS, SSSTS-R, SMSTS, SMSTS-R, and HSA courses.
• Strong understanding of CITB regulations and construction industry standards.
• Experience delivering training in both remote/virtual formats and face-to-face classroom settings.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to tailor training methods to meet the specific needs of various learners.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel for face-to-face training delivery as needed.
