Talentedge are proud to be partnering with an early stage FinTech startup on their first finance hire.

With a hugely impressive leadership team in place and being backed by Tier 1 investors, this is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join what City Analysts are predicting to be the next FinTech household name coming out of London!

Key responsibilities:

• Design and roll out key scalable processes, controls and systems
• In-house and build a robust finance infrastructure, ensuring all processes and controls are scalable
• Own the day-to-day finance function, including monthly Board pack preparation, statutory reporting, tax work and transactional finance (AP / AR etc)
• Lead on company FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering and KPI analysis
• Turn data generated into meaningful insights to support business decision making
• Drive future funding rounds
• Continually use technology to automate manual functions
• In time, recruit and mentor a superstar finance team

Profile:

• Qualified accountant
• Experience of working within a high growth FinTech or SaaS startup / scaleup
• Proven experience of building a finance function from scratch including processes, teams and systems
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel
• Xero + wider ecosystem of apps exposure
