Due Diligence & Investigations Lead

This role provides the opportunity to lead the development of a brand-new Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) function, building processes and procedures from the ground up. You will have the scope to innovate, incorporating the latest technology and industry best practices to shape the EDD framework.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct EDD reviews on high-risk client accounts, focusing on financial crime risks related to PEPs and other high-risk entities.
• Assess risk ratings and provide recommendations on mitigation strategies for client onboarding, continuation, or termination.
• Utilise expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC), and Sanctions risks in client assessments.
• Support the development of EDD processes and procedures.

Experience:

• Strong background in corporate investigations, business intelligence, and intelligence analysis.
• Confident in applying OSINT skills across various jurisdictions and languages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Turkish would be advantageous.
