Investment Director

We’re partnering with the investment arm of a prominent global family, known for their recent significant investments across the communications sector. They are currently institutionalising their family office and building a top-tier investment team to manage major transactions across various industries and markets.

As part of this evolution, they are seeking two senior investment leaders: one to focus on broad cross-sector investments and the other specifically to lead deals in the telecommunications sector.

The Opportunity:

• Ownership of the investment strategy: You’ll be in the driver’s seat, developing and implementing the firm’s investment review processes, overseeing major transactions, and shaping key decision-making.
• High-value transactions: You’ll lead large-scale, complex deals across multiple industries, backed by significant capital and resources, with a direct impact on the family office’s portfolio.
• Global and UK focus: You’ll oversee investments on an international scale, with a strong emphasis on expanding the family office’s growing presence in the UK market.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are recruiting for two roles with specific focuses:

Cross-Sector Investment Leader:

—Broad investment experience: You’ve led transactions across a diverse range of sectors and asset classes, with the ability to structure and execute complex, large-scale deals.

—Adaptable and strategic: Able to adjust strategies in line with shifting market conditions and capitalize on new opportunities across different industries.

Telecommunications Investment Leader:

—Telecommunications expertise: You bring deep experience leading and executing deals in the telecoms sector, with a strong track record of managing industry-specific investments.

—Strategic sector knowledge: You have a nuanced understanding of the telecommunications industry, including trends, regulations, and market opportunities.

Both roles will require:

• Buy-side experience: Hands-on experience in private equity, asset management, or family office settings, with a deep understanding of buy-side deal-making and portfolio management.
• Leadership and process development: Proven ability to manage and enhance investment processes and analysis, with a track record of making informed, long-term investment decisions that drive sustained growth.
