We are looking for a Work Measurement Analyst to join our Workforce Management Department where you will be a crucial part of a well-established, supportive and high-performing team.

Purpose of the role:

To accurately measure, model and maintain hours for Retail, to support the departments mission to focus our efforts on the right areas, doing tasks effectively and efficiently, benefiting our colleagues and customers.

The role consists of:

  • Project Management: You will oversee work measurement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring everything runs efficiently.
  • Process Documentation: Youll analyse our retail processes and accurately document how tasks are performed.
  • Measuring Productivity: Your role will involve assessing retail processes and tracking productivity levels.
  • Modelling Impact: You will evaluate and validate how work measurements influence our operations.
  • Store Visits: Regular visits to our retail stores will be part of your responsibilities for conducting work measurements, audits, and validations.
  • Labour Standards Development: Youll create Labour Standards to determine the Basic Minute Value (BMV) for each retail task.
  • Conducting Studies: You will complete various work measurement studies, focusing on activities, efficiency, and roles.
  • Data Analysis: Your expertise in gathering and analysing data will help identify patterns and provide valuable insights.
  • Team Support: You will support the wider team in maintaining the Labour Model.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with stakeholders across the business to enhance understanding of the Labour Model will be key in your role.
  • Process Optimisation: Youll identify opportunities to optimize retail processes and improve ways of working to add value.

  • Driving License: You hold a full UK driving license and are flexible enough to travel within the UK, including overnight stays when necessary.

Desirable skills:

  • Retail Experience: You have prior experience in the retail industry.
  • Educational Background: You have a degree or relevant business experience.
  • Knowledge of Work Measurement: You understand work measurements and work studies, with experience producing Labour Standards.
  • Background in Productivity: You have a background in productivity, industrial engineering, or workforce management.
  • Familiarity with Lean Methodologies: You are knowledgeable about Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • SQL Experience: You have experience using SQL for data analysis.
