As a Toolroom Foreman, you will oversee all tooling activities, ensuring optimal maintenance and repair of tools to support production efficiency. Responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies for new projects, determining tool design specifications, managing staff performance, and adhering to safety and budget guidelines. You will also lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and productivity within the toolroom. Job Experience and Skills Required: Trade Tested Tool, Jig & Die Maker, with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or Project Management. Minimum of 10 years in the automotive industry and at least 5 years managing engineering projects. Extensive experience in tool, jig, and die making, particularly with progression press tooling, and knowledge of welding techniques (CO2, resistance, and spot welding). Proficiency in MS Office, with a solid understanding of tooling manufacture, processes, materials, and applicable automotive quality standards.
