Senior Developer- Google Cloud Platform

Experience in developing, deploying and maintaining cloud-based application in GCP. The role involves leveraging various GCP services and tools to build scalable, reliable applications. The candidate should have strong background in Cloud computing and deep understanding of GCP services as Cloud Storage, Big Query, Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, Artifact Registry, Data plex and Dataflow. Should be proficient in programming languages like Python, Java etc. Responsibilities : - You will be part of team accountable for design, development of whole GCP data ecosystem for one of our Clients (Cloud Storage, Cloud Function, Cloud run, Big query and Data flow) - Involvement throughout the whole process starting gathering, analysing modelling and documenting business/technical requirements will be needed. This role involves direct contact with clients. - Designing, developing and optimizing data storage architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses or distributed file systems. Implementing and resolving bottlenecks tuning queries and implementing caching strategies. - Modelling the data from various sources and technologies. Developing the solution and ensuring adherence to best practice and quality in data engineering projects. Train and mentor less experienced data engineers, providing guidance and knowledge transfer. - Involvement in COE for AI/Ml modelling projects and various Multi Cloud projects including AWS, Azure and different databases like Snowflake, Redshift etc. Required Skills and Experience : - Overall 6 years of experience as Data engineer with 5 years of relevant experience as GCP data engineer and minimum 2 yrs experience in Technical Leading role. - Real-time, hands-on experience in data warehousing, big query, cloud run, Dataflow is must. - Extensive knowledge and hands on experience with GCP services i.e. Cloud Storage, Cloud Scheduler, Artifact Registry, Data plex, and Dataflow. - Excellent Programming skills (Python, SQL, other scripting) and familiarity with CI/CD pipeline and tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Good to have knowledge in Multi Cloud (AWS, Azure) and Cloud DBs like Snowflake, Redshift (ref:hirist.tech)
