AEM Developer

Duties and Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain marketing pages using AEM 6.2 using front-end languages like HTML, CSS, SCSS, and JavaScript, jQuery,React - Optimize front end for maximum page performance across multiple devices and browsers; work with Development Leads to address customer requirements; provide requirements analysis for scope and time estimates. - Use variants feature in content fragments to add styles to components in authoring mode. - Provide production for AEM components and give code fixes for UI-related issues. - Provide and implement permanent fixes for production issues. - Work on customizing the bootstrap classes using CSS preprocessors like SCSS. - Provide technical support for queries related to the application in-scope. - Coordinate with QA test team for regression and functional testing for the components/code developed. - Design and develop robust new AEM components or modify existing ones, including their configuration, Java code, client libraries, and templates that meet business, technical and quality requirements. Qualification, Experience/Skills, Leadership competencies - 2 year of working experience in frontend application development using any JavaScript library/framework. - Hands on experience and understanding of JavaScript and its core principles - Strong proficiency in any one of the JavaScript library/frameworks like React JS, Vue JS and Angular. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model - Proficiency in Adobe HTL Expression Language (Sightly) for efficient front-end development. - Proven track record of integrating RESTful APIs, SOAP, and server-side JavaScript into AEM projects. - Experience with newer specifications of ECMAScript & Typescript. - Experience with RESTful APIs - Good knowledge on Core web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. - Good Knowledge of RWD frameworks like Bootstrap and Material UI - Good Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS. - Experience with popular Adobe Experience Manager Workflows. - Experience with a testing framework (Jest/Mocha) - Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, NPM, etc. - Good understanding of package managers and able to resolve dependencies. - Experience in distributed code repositories such as Git. - Knowledge of AEM workflows, sling servlets and Sling Models Personal Attributes : - Candidate analyzing the roadmap for adoption of new technologies and trends for application to achieve functionality and architecture goals. - Candidate should be our in-house preacher and trainer on writing well-commented, readable, high-quality code. - Candidate should be help the organization identify, define and establish best practices and frameworks keeping in mind parameters of performance, responsiveness, security, maintainability, extensibility, and reuse (ref:hirist.tech)
