The Director of Design, Estate and Capital Programme leads a large and talented multi-disciplinary team comprising the Design, Estate, Projects, and Sustainability departments, to deliver an outstanding and unique visitor experience across all our sites and connecting audiences with a world inspired by creativity. Working with the best established and emerging architects, designers, engineers and expert consultants, you will ensure that all the V&A’s physical interventions are ambitious, imaginative and of the highest design quality.

We are seeking an inspirational leader who combines a design sensibility with the ability to deliver complex capital programmes; someone who will set a high bar for sophisticated and strategic leadership in the planning, development and implementation of all design and building led initiatives.
