A highly successful medical device company is searching for a Territory Manager to join their UK London office - someone with experience selling technology / platform / digital solutions.


The Medical Device Company:


This is a leading medical device company with circa 2,500 employees globally that specialize in respiratory medical devices. The devices are rooted in a number of healthcare establishments, inclusive of hospitals, medical education institutes, universities and service institutions to ensure that frontline nurse practitioners, trainee medics and service men & women are providing their respiratory patients with the absolute best (often emergency) care possible.

Key responsibilities:


  • Use of a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach to effectively achieve financial goals within territory, continually sharing best practices with customers and local team.
  • Sell complete solutions, including programs, services and products to improve outcomes.
  • Achieve annual territory revenue quota and continually look to bolster territory.
  • Maintain operating expenses at or below budget.
  • Demonstrates effective territory management, including achieving minimum weekly sales call targets, leveraging organizational/planning skills and CRM and territory landscape to establish call plans.
  • Efficiently run operations to increase sales and market share.
  • Create new opportunities and move through sales stages to successful close.
  • Adjust activity level to be commensurate with current corporate strategy (e.g. segment time allocation) to drive results and business goals.
  • Experience with value-based selling and discipline with discounting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources for maximum customer outcome and revenue impact.
  • Prepare, analyse and execute monthly and quarterly reporting of revenue results, performance metrics and opportunity funnel, to provide accurate forecasting.
  • Based on territory CRM analysis, create action/territory plans to reach revenue goals.
  • Prepare for and participate in sales/team meetings.
  • Provides regular market feedback on products, trends and market dynamics.


Required experience/competencies:


  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years sales experience, ideally within a medical device or medical education setting (but this is not compulsory).
  • Excellent territory planning skills and a results-oriented approach.
  • Can demonstrate a solution-oriented sales approach, working closely with prospective and brand-new clients.
  • A strong work ethic, team player mindset and an openness to always learning new methodologies and adapting to new sales approaches.
  • Fluent in English with excellent oral, written and presentation skills to ensure seamless communication.
  • Ability to travel (up to 50% of the time) and possesses a valid driver’s license.
  • Body motor skills required to move from one location to another, including ability to move, lift, roll 50–90-pound simulators.
