Merchandiser

We are looking for an in-house Merchandiser to play a key role in our merchandise team.

Size of the role

• You will be responsible for all stock management to support the wholesale order book conversion.
• You will work closely with the suppliers to ensure purchase orders are planned on time and stock is delivered on time and in full
• You will be responsible for training and developing the assistant merchandiser and merchandise admin assistant.

The “day-to-day”

1. Support the seasonal strategy and range planning process and ensure achievable and measurable KPIs.
2. Driving the end-to-end selling process through detailed analysis, range assortment, and buy proposals.
3. Actively maximising sales opportunities through detailed and timely analysis of the order book versus target and last year, highlighting risk areas and turning missed opportunities into additional orders.
4. Support the selling in the review process to ensure that lessons learned are captured and constructively fed back to the design team.
5. Review key account selections with the account manager to support accurate forecasting and stock buying before orders are updated on the system.
6. Driving the buying critical path to ensure all wholesale orders are reviewed and on the system in line with the buy submission dates.
7. Review sales orders versus purchase orders at the earliest possible date, highlighting risks and proposing solutions.
