Job Title: Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) – Pensions

Contract: Fixed-term (10 months, maternity cover)

Location: London

Overview:

SSQ is working with a leading law firm seeking an experienced Pensions Lawyer (PSL or fee-earner) to join their Knowledge team on a fixed-term basis. This role involves managing and developing knowledge resources, supporting fee-earners, and contributing to client materials and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge Management:

• Maintain and organize internal knowledge systems.
• Enhance knowledge sharing across the firm.

Fee-earner Support:

• Provide legal research, draft resources, and offer guidance on legal issues.
• Assist in preparing presentations and client-facing materials.

Training & Development:

• Contribute to and deliver internal and external training on pensions law.

Person Specification:

• 4-5+ years of pensions law experience (as a PSL or fee-earner).
• Strong drafting and research skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable.
• Strong communicator and team player.
