Our client is a global leader in the technical industry. The production plant is located near Wroclaw.
Your responsibilities
- Oversee all financial aspects of plant operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability
- Lead the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Provide financial insight to help plant management make informed decisions
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for plant management and corporate headquarters
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and transparency
- Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the plant's financial and operational performance
- Act as a strategic partner to the plant management team, providing financial insights and recommendations for improving operational efficiency
- Manage and control inventory accounting, ensuring accurate tracking of materials and finished goods
- Identify and lead initiatives to improve financial processes and reduce waste in production and financial systems
Employer requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of financial experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a plant controller role or similar position
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting
- Experience with ERP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and influence key decision-makers
- Strong oral and written English and Polish communication skills
