Regulatory Reporting Associate - EMEA COO

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and perform the periodic reconciliations of the transaction reporting submissions to Regulators back to the core trading records of EMEA.
  • Manage the periodic quality assurance testing process and analyze the results produced to compare the errors and queries identified in the current period.
  • Manage daily rejections and the preparation of corrections to the reports.
  • Perform periodic spot-checks of regulatory transaction submissions to the reporting scenarios across a range of different asset-classes and transaction types.
  • Take responsibility for preparing a summary of findings and actions required for submission through the governance.
  • Support the wider team in the investigation of technical issues and the testing of system solutions.
  • Provides support in adherence to and implementation of all relevant FIM and Internal Control procedures.
  • Help support diligence and process discipline in the performance of key activities and focus on the quality of output and support a strong compliance and conduct culture across the Regulatory Reporting team.

Our requirements

  • University bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Knowledge about MIFID and EMIR reporting.
  • Relevant working experience/understanding of Operations, Risk & Control, Regulations and Finance. Private Banking experience beneficial.
  • Proven experience in defining problems, analyzing causes, assess options and find effective. solutions; ability to relate to people at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Self-motivated, driven and delivery focused the organisation.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Highly adaptable with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently.

About the role

  • The Global Private Bank has obligations under regulations such as MiFID II and EMIR to provide reporting to the markets and Regulators. These obligations have created a range of new activities and processes that are required to support the GPB delivery, which require specialist knowledge and capabilities which will be embedded in this role.
  • The purpose of the role is to support the governance and control framework that monitors the effectiveness of the market and regulatory reporting obligations across EMEA entities and to support the wider team in the performance of these reporting activities.
