Your responsibilities

  • Execute CO monthly closing including profitability analysis, internal cost allocation, distributions and allocations to provide controlling information in SAP-reports for the customers controlling department
  • Coordination and support of the customer companies regarding their budget implementation into the SAP-system
  • Consulting customers in development and harmonization of their controlling and cost accounting methods
  • Consulting in structural changes of the customer companies (reorganization, merger, demerger, spin-offs, etc.) and on business administration issues
  • Coordination and alignment of business processes with all related units such as external accounting, procurement, vendor- and customer management, SAP IT support and others
  • Consulting customers in development and implementation of (SAP) controlling reports
  • Quality assurance and implementation of new requirements in existing SAP CO reports
  • Conception and continuous development of internal accounting functionality and the associated processes in SAP CO module, planning and implementation of system improvements
  • Providing and continuous improvement of self-designed tools in SAP enabling customers to administrate their own master data and change their postings
  • Transformation of customer needs into technical description for SAP developers incl. quality assurance of newly implemented functionality
  • Consulting customers in creation of authorization concepts incl. implementation via SAP IT operations Team
  • Implementation of new customers on SAP CO-module
  • Project management of customer migration projects

Employer requirements

  • Master’s degree, preferably related to Controlling, Accounting or Finance
  • Several years of working experience in a Controlling Line Function or Consulting role
  • Strong understanding of controlling/financial steering best practices, e.g. in internal accounting, cost allocation and reporting
  • Experience in project management
  • SAP knowledge
  • Excellent computer literacy, especially in MS Office
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Good knowledge of German will be an asset
  • Ability to think analytically combined with conceptual skills and attention to the business perspective
  • Statistical/mathematical literacy and a capacity for abstract thinking
  • Ability and willingness for teamwork
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset, ability to learn from mistakes
