Full Job Description

Ranger Roofing and Construction is seeking highly motivated and experienced Journeyman Commercial Roofers specializing in TPO roofing systems. We have immediate openings for individuals looking to advance their careers in commercial roofing. Candidates must be familiar with multiple roofing systems and rooftop equipment, have hands-on experience, and be ready to take on projects across Texas and the southeastern United States. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team committed to high-quality work and safety.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the proper installation of roofing materials in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Transport materials, equipment, and rigging to job sites as needed.
• Apply and repair roofing materials, ensuring precision and quality.
• Perform demolition and tear-off of existing roofing systems for repair or replacement.
• Knowledgeably install single-ply roofing systems such as TPO.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform hand welding of details and operate Leister varimat welder as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to company safety standards and exceed all safety protocols.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 3 years in single-ply roofing systems (TPO). Sheet metal roofing is a plus!
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background clearance for the projects we work on.
• Reliable transportation to job sites is required.
• A valid ID is required. A driver's license is preferred, but not required.
• TWIC card is a plus and is preferred, but not required.
• Must provide verifiable experience and contact information.
• Must be able to work at heights, lift 50+lbs, carry, bend, stand, and work in the elements all year.
• Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts is a preferred skill.
• Strong knowledge of hand and power tools used in roofing work.
• Experience:
  • Single-ply roofing: 3 years (Required).
  • Commercial roofing: 5 years (Required).

Schedule:

• 40 - 60 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend Potential

Work Location:

• Work is currently being performed in Texas, and Louisiana, with additional projects across the southeast.
• Office is located on the northeast side of Houston, with projects across the state of Texas and southeastern United States.
• Must be willing and able to travel as necessary.
